  • Bagatti Valsecchi Museum

    Well preserved historic house museum in downtown Milan; Italian Renaissance art and decorative arts are displayed as they were in the late 19th century. At via Gesu 5, 20122 Milan.

  • Basilica of San Giacomo

    Completed in 1125, this basilica is an example of Roman-Lombard. Inside mosaics, an ancient cross and a wooden sculpture of Christ are displayed. Located in the historical area of Bellagio.

  • Certosa di Pavia

    Monastery complex famous for its Gothic and Renaissance architecture, paintings and sculptures. Open Tuesday to Saturday from October to March and Tuesday to Sunday from April to September. Opening times are seasonal. At 27012 Certosa di Pavia (PV).

  • Civico Museo Archeologico

    Museum with collections from the Roman, Greek and Etruscan eras. Open everyday except Monday 09:00-13:00 and 14:00-17:30. At corso Magenta 15, 20123 Milan (MI).

  • Il Cenacolo

    Leonardo da Vinci's The Last Supper is displayed at the Santa Maria delle Grazie monastery. Opens Tuesday to Sunday 08:00-19:30. Visits must be reserved. Located at Piazza Santa Maria della Grazie 2, Corso Magenta, 20123 Milan (MI).

  • Museo Civico Archeologico

    Museum exhibiting archeological artefacts dating back to the pre-historic era. Open Tuesday to Sunday 09:00-12:30 and 14:30-18:00. Free guided tours are available on request. At Piazza Cittadella 12, 24129 Bergamo (BG).

  • Museo delle Api

    Museum exploring the nature and life of bees. Open the last Sunday of the month 09:30-11:30. At Via Menegardo 32, 22700 Bregnano (CO).

  • Museo Nazionale della Scienza e della Tecnologia - Leonardo da Vinci

    The National Science and Technology Museum has models of Leonardo da Vinci's designs as well as ships, trains, radio, energy and educational exhibits. Open Tuesday to Friday 09:30-17:00 and weekends 09:30-18:30 at Via S Vittore 21, 20123 Milan (MI).

  • Museo Poldi-Pezzoli

    Opened to visitors in 1881, Gian Giacomo Poldi Pezzoli's mansion displays many works of art and is decorated in Baroque, Medieval, Early Renaissance and Rococo styles. Open Tuesday to Sunday 10:00-18:00 at Via Manzoni 12, 20121 Milan (MI).

  • Museo Teatrale alla Scala

    The Sambon collection of opera-related antiques, including Verdi's death mask, is displayed. Open everyday 09:00-12:30 and 13:30-17:30. Last entrants permitted 30 minutes before closing. Largo Ghiringhelli 1 Piazza Scala, 20121 Milan (MI).

  • Museum of Navigation Instruments

    Exhibition of over 200 navigational instruments including solar clocks, telescopes and brass planetarium. Open in summer season 10:00-13:00 and in the afternoon by appointment. At Piazza Don Miotti, 22020 San Giovanni di Bellagio (CO).

  • Pinacoteca Ambrosiana

    Art gallery with 24 rooms founded in 1603 by Cardinal Borromeo. Works include Botticelli's Madonna del Padiglione, Luini's Holy Family and Leonardo's Codex Atlantico. Open 10:00-17:30 Tuesday to Sunday at Piazza Pio XI 2, 20123 Milan (MI).

  • Pinacoteca di Brera

    Established by Napoleon, this art gallery has more than 600 works including Boccioni's Riot in the Galleria, Montegna's Dead Christ and Hayez's The Kiss. Open Tuesday to Sunday 08:30-19:30 at Via Brera 28, 20121 Milan (MI).

  • Teatro La Scala

    Milan's world famous opera house. Each year the season traditionally opens on December 7. The La Scala Museum houses a collection of paintings, drafts, statues and costumes regarding the theatre's history. At Piazza della Scala, 20121 Milan (MI).

  • The Duomo
