The following conditions are required for eligibility for the disability
pension: physical or mental disease certified by INPS doctors that make it
absolutely and permanently impossible to carry out any type of work, history of
insurance and contribution payments: at least five years of insurance, of which
at least three years paid during the five years prior to the pension
application.
