Italian School Holidays in Lombardy

A calendar of the school terms in Italy: all the dates when the state schools in Milan and Lombardy close for vacation.

The duration of the school year ranges from 891 to 1320 hours over 33 weeks, from September to June. The academic year is divided into either two or three terms, from September to January and January to June, or September to January, January to March and March to June. There are vacation breaks at Christmas, Easter and other local and national days as appropriate. The school calendar is set every year on a regional level.

School year ends 12 June 2010 (primary 7 secondary schools)
30 June 2010 (kindergarten schools)

The dates above indicate the final day of school and the day classes resume for a new term.
